Born in Hong Kong, graduated from School of Creative Media, City University of Hong Kong, Bachelor of Arts (Hons).

Garret first picked up a camera at the period of high school and started his career as a freelance photographer. He founded a production house, ILLUISM, in 2015. The name “ILLUISM” included three important elements of Garret's belief in photography, which are "illustrate", "illuminate" and "illusion".

He currently centralizes on commercial photography, such as advertising and editorial. He had served brands like Adidas, BMW, Cathay Pacific, Hong Kong Tourism Board, HSBC, Landmark, Madame Figaro, Puma, Sotheby’s, Visa etc. With his skills in Photoshop, Garret also works as an individual photo-retoucher. His retouching works include Harper's BAZAAR magazine covers, Puma APAC KV, Chow Tai Fook and Samsonite worldwide campaign.
